The Firefly’s Gleam

A tiny spark, in velvet night,

The firefly, a wondrous sight.

It dances through the summer air,

A fleeting gleam, beyond compare.

A beacon bright, in shadowed wood,

A tiny star, misunderstood.

It illuminates the darkest space,

A fleeting moment, time and place
